I have heard Kerry talk about the importance of contracts and terms of business.
I decided to have our contracts, shareholder agreements and terms of businesses re-done as we last reviewed ours 5 years ago.
Our current contracts were very lengthy and once Kerry was in receipt of these, within a day she came back to us with a solution. She found within our contracts some contradicting clause and with our terms of business clauses that actually put us as a firm in a vulnerable position Our contracts were created by our regulatory body and a corporate law firm which was concerning.
Kerry was on point with all aspect and turned our 18 page contract it to a 5 page contract covering all the major points that needed to be covered and removed the clauses that were never applicable to us. Our terms of business became far more easier to read and understand for the client, and the major point Kerry brought to our attention was we were never had a service contract which broke down what the client was buying. I know this is not mandatory but definitely is best practice and that’s what Kerry brings, best practice for your company and clients
Giving Kerry a tight deadline to work towards, she was able to create the contracts for us within the time scale I gave her which again shows her true commitment on offering the very best service.
